My name is David, but I like to go by D4. I was given the nickname back when I was a freshman in college at UC Davis. One day, there were four Davids all together at a friend’s apartment on campus. She called for one of us and we all looked at the same time. So my friend jokingly numbered us as D1, D2, D3 and D4. I was D4, and it stuck ever since. ‘D’ is also the forth letter of the alphabet. There’s more to it, but you get the point.

As a neo-generalist who is equipped with a growth mindset and a bunch of interests, I wanted this website to be my personal branding hub. This website will mainly focus on my freelance services, like building websites and consulting for small businesses, and portal for some of the content I create (videos, photos, blogging). My full-time gig is working with musicians as a project manager, digital marketing strategist, artist day-to-day manager for various artists. On my free time, I enjoy creating educational content based on my experiences in the industry to help aspiring/emerging artists with the business side of music over at D4 Music Marketing.

In 2023, I co-produced season 4 of a web cooking show with Lyrics Born called “Dinner In Place” that accumulated 2.1 million views across all platforms.

Aside from my passion in music and creating content, I’m into biohacking (health/fitness), nature, video games, travel/exploration, NBA, fantasy basketball, NFTs (music and gaming), podcasts, Mexican food, chicken wings and boba.
